Film Making

Film and theatre have always been a part of my life. From a young age I spent many an afternoon in movie houses where my maternal grandfather worked as a projectionist.

I grew up on stage through community theatre and dance.  That interest led me to study theatre in college in New York City where I was in several Black Box Theatre performances. My production talents were realized while performing in a play while employed at a Cancer hospital. Cell Zappers was a play which explained in plain language what happens to normal cells when cancer infiltrates the body; and how the medical treatments currently used fight the disease work. The following year I successfully Directed and Produced the play.

I shifted into film after a friend invited me to join his team for the 48 Hour Film Project competition.  I directed five films under his banner, Broken Compass Videos.  My 48 Hour Film Project experience continued after moving to Denver as Assistant Director and Production Assistant with Emerald Fox Productions, in 2016 and 2017 respectively.  In 2018, I founded my own team, and company, for the 48 Hour Film Project named Little Red Tent Films.
