With 14 National Park units that include two National Parks, three National Historical Parks, two National Monuments, one National Historic site, two National Recreation Area, one National Memorial, one National Seashore, one Wild & Scenic River, and one National Seashore. Along with four National Forests in the State. There are three federally recognized Native Tribal Nations in Texas.
