Arizona entered the Union as the 48th State on February 14, 1912. It is home to 27 federally recognized Native Tribal Nations. It has six National Forests, 24 National Park Units (parks, monuments and recreation areas) including Grand Canyon National Park which is registered as one of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders. Plus, four Bureau of Land Management monuments.
